The popular Mama-Bhanja duo, Govinda and Krushna Abhishek’s relationship hit a rock bottom last year when Krushna Abhishek’s wife Kashmera Shah had tweeted, “people who dance for money.”
Govinda’s wife felt that Kashmera’s tweet was aimed at her husband Govinda. However, Krushna has clarified his part and told that tweet was for his sister Arti Singh and not Govinda, the differences between the two for not completely resolved.
Recently, Govinda along with his wife and daughter came to promote her daughter’s upcoming album but the shocking part was that Krushna, who essays Sapna on the show was nowhere to be seen.
Revealing the reason behind his absence, the comedian told a media portal, that he was told by his team that Sunita didn’t want him to be a part of the segment featuring them and hence, he showed up only for a gig before the couple’s entry.
“It was sad and shocking, as my character (Sapna) is an integral part of the show. However, I chose not to create a ruckus because it was Narmada’s big day, and they had come to promote her album. If I could do this for my sister being the older brother, I expected the same from my elders. It’s so sad that while Chi Chi mama (Govinda) doesn’t want us to fight or talk about our issues in public, something like this has happened,” he has been quoted saying by the daily.
Although in his previous interviews, Krushna has told that he had patched up with Govinda six months ago and that the two had even met a couple of times. He revealed that the actor had asked him to mend ties with his Mami as she was still upset with him.
