TV actress Chahatt Khanna’s life is full of tragedies and that is quite evident from the horrific incident that happened with her on the festival of Holi.
The actress had to go through a lot after her car was attacked by 14 drunken men who had consumed bhaang on the festival. The men smashed her car and tried to hurt her, her kids and driver. However, the situation was later controlled as the cops reached on time and saved them.
The actress narrated the horrific ordeal to an entertainment portal, she said, “They then forced my driver to get down somehow and started beating him up. The next thing I knew was that the back glass of my car had also been smashed. Soon, they were on the bonnet of my car and even on the roof, dancing and singing. It had now gone wild.”
She also added that she herself got off the car and dealt with the situation. She also questioned the checking system on the festival and added “They were all sloshed with bhaang. Why are no checks possible to detect bhaang? Anyway, I took my chappals and threatened them. Worse still, 4 of them started getting physical with me. I decided to call the local MLA, but at this very juncture, the cops arrived. Had they come 5 minutes later, I don’t know if I would have been alive.”
The actress didn’t file a complaint against the men even after suffering a lot. She said that her children safety is more important for her and she would not go with any further proceedings on the matter.
