UGC NET 2021: Last date to fill application form extended @ ugcnet.nta.nic.in, Revised scheduled here 

The selection of candidates for the following Fellowships of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment and the Ministry of Minorities Affairs is also made through the UGC-NET.

UGC NET 2021: Last date to fill application form extended @ ugcnet.nta.nic.in, Revised scheduled here 

UGC NET 2021: National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the last date for filling the online application for the UGC NET exam. Accordingly, candidates can now apply online till 9th March 2021. 

Candidates can now apply online on ugcnet.nta.nic.in, official portal. The NTA has issued an official notice in this regard. Accordingly, the decision has been taken in view of the request of the candidates to increase the last date of the UGC NET examination. Earlier, the last date for application was up to 2nd March 2021.

The December 2020 Cycle (May 2021) of UGC NET will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode in multi shifts as per the time schedule specified in the Information at a glance, in the Subjects given at Annexure-II in selected Cities spread across the Country (Annexure-III).

  • Last Date of Online Application- 9 March 2021
  • Last Date of Submission of Fee- 10th March 2021
  • Correction Window Open – 12th February to 16th March 2021

The NTA has been entrusted by the University Grants Commission (UGC) with the task of conducting UGC-NET, which is a test to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for ‘Assistant Professor’ and ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor’ in Indian universities and colleges. 

The selection of candidates for the following Fellowships of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment and the Ministry of Minorities Affairs is also made through the UGC-NET.
