After UGC has come out with a fresh set of guidelines, it was decided that the final year examinations of the university will be conducted however, the final year students will not be promoted without taking the exams.
Hence, students have made twitter a medium to oppose the exam and trends #SayNoToUGCGuidelines in the wake of the cancellation of the final year exam and at this time this social media site is full of messages like not conducting exams.
Although the UGC also notified regarding all the safety measures during exams even after this the students are opposing and demanding the cancellation of the exams.
Even UGC said that if any students who fail to appear for the September exam, then when the conditions are normal, they can take the special examination which will be held again. But even after the UGC statement students don’t look happy with these facilities.
Along with students, teachers are also opposing the conduct of these examinations in some places.
For example, the Delhi University Teachers Association (DUTA) has also expressed its dissatisfaction with the guidelines of the UGC, saying that this decision is a complete disregard of the students.
In the meantime, some such messages are coming on Twitter, like there will be an exam in September because in November the beds will be empty in hospitals so that students can get admitted. Some are saying that it is not appropriate to do a trial on the final year students and these exams should be cancelled.
Some say that many students travel far away, the danger is too much for them etc. Overall, the reasons are all their own, but the demand is only one in a tone that examinations should not be conducted.
