New Delhi, Feb 24 (IANS) US President Donald Trump’s top aide Dan Scavino jr expressed awe over the presence of a sea of people along the Ahmedabad airport to the Moreta stadium route to welcome the motorcade.
“In motorcade en route to the stadium. I’ve never seen anything like this. Unbelievable!!!!,” Trump’s top aide and White House Director of Social Media tweeted. Scavino also tweeted photos and videos of the crowd.
The tweet came as the Trump delegation was on its way to the stadium for the ‘Namaste Trump’ event that saw presence of over 1.25 lakh people.
Thousands were standing along the 22-km airport-to-Sabarmati Ashram-to-stadium route to greet Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
