UP B.Ed Entrance Exam 2021: Check exam day guidelines and what to take to Exam Center

The UP B.ED entrance examination is conducted annually by Lucknow University offering admission to eligible candidates to 2 years B.Ed programmes in 16 colleges registered with the University.

Lucknow University will commence the UP B.ED examination on August 06, 2021. The University has earlier released the admit card for all the eligible candidates on the official website i.e. lkouniv.ac.in.

The exam earlier scheduled for July 30, 2021, has been postponed citing a surge in the Covid-19 cases across the state. The UP B.ED entrance examination is conducted annually by Lucknow University offering admission to eligible candidates to 2 years B.Ed programmes in 16 colleges registered with the University.

The candidates who will be appearing for the examination on August 06, 2021, have to follow all the guidelines mentioned below to take care of their safety:

#1 The candidates should locate their exam centre venue a day before the examination. This will help them in avoiding unnecessary chaos on exam day. The candidates will be well versed with the route and thus can avoid traffic beforehand.

#2The candidates should make a checklist of all the important things that they have to carry to the exam centre. This will avoid any last moment glitch on exam day.

#3 The candidates should try to complete their revision a day before the exam. This is the best way to relax one’s mind and make it chaos-free.

#4 Next, citing the immense pressure the candidates will be having for their performance in the exam. Therefore, the candidates should eat a properly balanced diet and get a good sleep. In this way, they can appear for the exam with a fresh mind.

#5 Another thing that candidates have to keep in mind is these are Covid times and they should follow all the SOPs i.e. social distancing, wearing a mask on the exam hall. The candidates should carry their own stationery items and should avoid any sort of physical contact with fellow candidates.

Along with the exam guidelines, the other thing that candidates have to give special attention to is the checklist of the important things that have to be carried to the exam centre.

The candidates can check out the major things that have to be carried to the exam centre below:

  1. UP B.ED JEE Admit Card 2021
  2. Valid Id proof i.e. Adhaar card/ Voter Id card
  3. Stationery items
  4. N95 Mask
  5. Hand sanitiser bottle of at least 50ml
  6. Personal water bottle

The UP B.ED Exam is an offline test that is held annually and comprises two papers i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 comprise two subjects i.e. General Knowledge and General English. While Paper 2 has also two subjects i.e. General Aptitude and Subject Ability. Each subject in the paper 1 and 2 accounts for 50 questions each. Each correct answer accounts for 2 marks but there is a negative marking of 1/3rd marks for each wrong answer.
