UP Basic Education Council Half yearly examinations to be conducted from October 25

The Basic Education Council is all set to conduct the half-yearly examinations of the primary and upper primary students from October 25, 2019, according to reports.

Earlier, the half yearly examinations for the primary and upper primary students were scheduled to commence on October 16, 2019. However, the examinations dates were postponed due to the by-elections.

 

As per the new exam schedule, the examinations of the students from class 1 to 5 will be conducted until October 30, 2019. The examination of the students from class 6 to 8 will be conducted until November 2, 2019.

Around 1.6 lakh students will appear for the primary and upper primary examination from schools in both rural and urban areas of Lucknow.

While the Uttar Pradesh Board released the Model question paper for the class 10 and 12 board examinations recentl, the students appearing for the class 10 and 12 board exam 2020 are advised to the official website [upmsp.edu.in] for latest updates.

Ensuring no use of unfair means, UP Board will allow allot students appearing for their 10th and 12th Board exam 2020 more sitting space in the examination halls.

According to reports, the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad has instructed all the district inspector of schools (DIoSs) to personally assess the information provided to the board, regarding infrastructure and available space, by the schools vying to become Board examination centres across the state.

However, students appearing for their Class 10 and 12 Board exams can now look forward to more personal space as they will be allotted a minimum of 20 square feet or 1.86 square metres of space each.

According to a board official, the decision will be implemented in the Board exams to be held from 2020 onwards.
