UP Board 10th, 12th Results 2021 Live Updates: Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) will release the class 10th and 12th result today. The UP board result 2021 for class 10, 12 will be released at 3.30 pm, an official statement has said.
The UP board result 2021 will be the first board result in the state. CBSE class 12 students in the state have already received their result on July 30. CBSE class 10 students in the state will receive their result next week.
This year the UP board results have been prepared in a non-traditional manner following an alternative assessment policy as board exams could not be held this year due to the devastating second wave of COVID-19.

UP board result 2021: No merit list for class 10, 12 this year
This year, there will be no merit list, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had said earlier. This year many state boards and CBSE and CISCE have not announced the toppers. This is because this year exams have not been held and students have been awarded imputed marks.

UP board result for class 10, 12 will be available on DigiLocker. The DigiLocker is a flagship initiative of Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY) under Digital India programme. It aims at ‘Digital Empowerment’ of citizen by providing access to authentic digital documents to citizen’s digital document wallet.

Last year, a total of 52,57,135 students appeared for the exams. It includes 30,24,632 students for class 10 and 25,86,440 students for Intermediate. The entire evaluation work was completed in 23 days.
This year, the board has cancelled UPMSP Class 12 exams in view of COVID-19 pandemic. The decision was taken in the interest of students. The board complied 12th result 2021 up board based on students previous exam performance by giving 50 per cent weightage to the marks obtained in high school, while 40 per cent of the half-yearly exam marks of Class 11, and 10 per cent of Class 12 pre-board exams will be considered.
