UP Board Class 12th Result 2020: Pranjal Singh hails from the rural area of Koraon located in trans-Yamuna region of Prayagraj district, bagged the second position in the UP Board 12th examination this year. Since every child dreams to become a great person, UP Board intermediate exam second rank-holder Pranjal Singh also wants to become an IAS officer and serve the nation.

Pranjal had secured the fifth position in the state in High School examination with 93.83% in 2018.

Pranjal is a student at Sardar Patel Intermediate College in Sikaro Village, Koraon town. Pranjal said that in addition to class time, he spends an average of six hours per day studying and preparing for the 12th board exam.

He said that his father, Awadhesh Kumar Singh, the principal of the same college, was a great inspiration and motivator, and he has always encouraged him to excel in his studies.

He said his next goal is to enroll and complete his BA along with the preparation for his ultimate dream of becoming a civil servant.

“I believe that I can serve my country the best and also help in the development of rural areas as an IAS officer. It is for this reason that I wished to clear the UPSC Civil Services examination and extend my contribution to the progress of my motherland just like my ideal APJ Abdul Kalam,” he shared while accepting blessings from his family and friends on his achievements.

He said that students must always be systematically prepared for any exam and devote equal time to all subjects, rather than overconfidence and neglect of subjects that they think they are good at.

Pranjal, 16, said that his favorite subjects include English, but he still needs to work hard to stand out in the subject. He shared: “Before the exam, I did take the tuition of the PCM course to improve my preparation level.”

Pranjal’s mother Geeta Singh is an assistant teacher at a Junior High School in Sikaro, while his elder sister Sneha Singh is preparing for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Under Graduate (NEET).
