The Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Board has revised the exam dates for the UP Board exam 2021 for class 10 and class 12.
The class 10 class 12 candidates can check the revised exam schedule for class 10 and class 12 by logging in to the official website of UPMSP at upmsp.edu.in. As per the revised date sheet, the class 10th and 12th examinations will now be held in May, which was earlier slated to start from April 24.
As per the reports, UP board class 10 and class 12 exams are being postponed because it is coinciding with the UP panchayat poll dates. Earlier, the UP board class 10 and class 12 exams were scheduled to commence on April 24, 2021. Now, the board exams will take place from May 8, 2021, to May 28, 2021.
In Uttar Pradesh, the gram panchayat elections, kshetra panchayat elections, and Zila panchayat elections will be held in four phases on the 15th, 19th, 26th, and 29th of April 2021. The counting of votes will be held on May 2, 2021.
The Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Board is now scheduled to complete the class 10 exams in 10 working days, while class 12 exams will take over 15 days.
The morning shift of the class 12 board exam will begin from May 10, 2021, with Music vocal, Music instrumental, Dance and will end on May 28, 2021, with Vocational Subjects (Fifth Question Paper). The class 12 evening shift will commence from May 8, 2021, with Hindi and will continue till May 28, 2021, with Political Science.
Over 56 lakh students are expected to appear for UP Board Exams 2021. The government has directed the UP board exam centers to ensure all COVID-19 guidelines are followed properly. Apart from this, like every year, there would be strict invigilation at board centers.
This year, a total number of 56,03,813 students have registered for the UP board class 10 class 12 exams.
