Uttar Pradesh police arrested International Golf player Jyoti Randhawa in poaching case on Wednesday in Motipur Range of Katerniaghat.
According to the reports, a .22 rifle and vehicle has also been seized.
The golfer and another man were held by the forest official in Motipur Range of Katerniaghat. The DFO is carrying out the interrogation and legal action in the case.
Randhawa was ranked in the top 100 of the Official World Golf Ranking several times between 2004 and 2009.
