UPSEE 2020: The online application process for the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE 2020) has commenced by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Uttar Pradesh on Monday, January 27, 2020.
Interested candidates can apply for the exam by visiting the official website, upsee.nic.in. The last date to register online for the exam is March 15, 2020, until 11:59 PM. The examination is scheduled to be held on May 10, 2020.
AKTU has also released an information Boucher on its official website regarding the state-level engineering entrance examination.
Application fee:
The Application form fee for UPSEE 2020 exam is Rs. 1300.00 for Male/Transgender candidates of General and OBC category and Rs. 650.00 for Female/Physically Handicapped candidates of all SC/ST category candidates.
Eligibility criteria:
Candidates must have clearly passed intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognised Board/University for admission to first year of B. Tech. They must have scored at least 45 per cent marks for unreserved category and for SC/ST category candidates, they should have 40 per cent marks, without grace in each compulsory subject and one optional subject taken together.
UPSEE will consist of eight papers and have 150 questions, with 50 questions each on physics, chemistry and mathematics. The time allotted to a candidate to complete the exam paper will be three hours duration. Each question will be of 4 marks and no marks will be deducted for wrong answers.

- After the registration process, your login credential will be sent to you via registered contact number or email ID
- Fill the form by using required credentials
- Make a payment
- Click on the submit option
- Take a print out of the same and save it for further reference

Around 1.5 lakh seats are there under UPSEE. The examination is being conducted at the state level, for admission of candidates in colleges affiliated with AKTU, earlier known as UPTU.
