UPTET Admit Card 2019: The admit card has been released for the candidates who have applied for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET)-2019 exam today, December 12, 2019, on the official website. The exam will be going to conducted at 1986 examination centres all across the state on December 22, as per official of exam regulatory authority, UP.

Anil Bhushan Chaturvedi, secretary of exam regulatory authority, UP said that the admit cards will be made available from December 12.

He further said while the test for the primary level will be conducted at 1986 centres, similarly for upper primary level will be held at 1063 centres.

This year 16,45, 510 candidates, including 10,76,336 at primary level and 5,69,174 at upper-primary level, have applied through online mode for the exam.

The exam will be held in two sessions: 10 AM to 12.30 PM (primary level) and 2.30 PM to 5 PM (upper primary level).

The authority plans to release the exam answer-key by December 26 and invite objections to file online till December 30. On January 16, 2020 it plans to release the final answer-key and declare the results on January 21, Chaturvedi said.

Steps to download the UPTET Admit Card 2019

  • Step 1: Go to the official website of the UP Board – upbasiceduboard.gov.in or updeled.gov.in
  • Step 2: Click on UPTET Admit Card 2019 download link on the homepage
  • Step 3: Enter your Registration No or Roll Number & Birth Date
  • Step 4: Click on Submit option
  • Step 5: Download & save it for future use

The UPTET-2018 exam conducted on November 18, 2018 attracted around 2.2 million (22 lakh) online registrations out of which 17.83 lakh candidates were issued admit cards.

Candidates who have qualified BTC, BEd or other National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) approved courses can appear in the exam hence, they are eligible to appear in Teacher’s Recruitment Exam that is held to become a teacher in government-run primary and upper primary schools.

Therefore, NCTE allowed BEd pass to apply for primary school teacher’s post in June 2018 which has led to a rise in number of applicants.
