A helicopter, carrying relief material to flood affected areas, has crashed in Uttarkashi. The helicopter was going from Mori to Moldi, in Uttarkashi district.
The aircraft crashed after getting entangled in power lines at around 12:15 PM.
Three people were on-board the helicopter, of which, two lost their lives.
Flash floods and cloudbursts have left people stranded in several areas of the state. Tons River has been flowing above the danger level in Uttarkashi following heavy rainfall in the past few days.
