A clutter-breaking hero, Ayushmann Khurrana eight years ago made his Hindi film debut with John Abraham and Soojit Sircar’s Vicky Donor. In 8 years, Ayushmann has become a guarantee of high-quality movies and box office success.
On completing eight years of Vicky Donor, the 35-year-old actor and director Shoojit Sircar planned something special for their fans.
They decided to go live on social media platforms on April 20 at 4 PM to discuss the journey of making movies and share countless anecdotes.
“I have planned something really special. Shoojit da and I will go live on our social media and discuss the process of how Vicky Donor was conceptualized by Shoojit da,” Khurrana said.
“We will also discuss several unheard anecdotes from the film’s shooting schedule. It will be like a trip down memory lane for us and I’m looking forward to it,” he added.
Vicky Donor also marked the debut of a fine actress, Yami Gautam. On Sunday, April 19, while remembering his first film, Ayushmann said that he will forever be thankful to director Shoojit Sircar for choosing him for the role.
“I will be forever thankful to Shoojit da for choosing me for Vicky Donor. He gave wind beneath my wings, told an outsider like me that it was ok for me to dream, it was ok for me to chase my passion of being a Hindi film hero,” said Khurrana.
Vicky Donor is an Indian romantic comedy with a concept set against the background of sperm donation and infertility. Therefore, this movie solved the problem that no one imagined will appear on the big screen-sperm donation. It has excellent writing and engaging performances.
