Warning! Indecent remarks on Bihar ministers, government officials will bring penalty now

Bihar: A new notice has been issued by the government where if anyone found criticising the government on any social media portals be it WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, Telegram, or any other platform, it would bring trouble for you.

As now Bihar police is on its way to file legal actions against such people who put out derogatory remarks against the government, MLA’s, MP’s, or any other government official. Not only this, if one is found putting false information to defame one another, legal action will be taken, and strict protocols would be followed.

As per the new rule, those who use derogatory remarks for officials will be booked under the sections of IT act for tarnishing one’s image.

The Economic Offences Unit (EOU) ADG Nair Hasnain Khan has written a letter to Principal Secretary and Secretary of departments on this matter, that is any such case arises please inform the EOU with detailed information on culprits and what went wrong, so that a proper investigation is conducted and action with all fairness is taken. The Economic Offences Unit (EOU) acts as a nodal agency for cybercrime and looks out for cases of a cyberbully, harassment, obscenity, and other such things.

So this to warn all the misleaders and people who tarnish images of other officials, you might be under observation and a legal action can be taken against you.
