As the many states are majorly affected by the rain, due to rain, people are not able to meet ends and there is video which is doing rounds on social media as a man got trapped in a strong current of water in Khutaghat Dam near Bilaspur. He stood there holding the tree for a long time.
Even after many attempts, he could not be taken out. Then the chopper of the Indian Air Force saved his life.
In the video it is seen that the man is standing in the dam holding a tree. Many people around him are trying to save him. That’s when the IAF chopper comes and puts the rope down. The person catches him and rescues him.
IG of Bilaspur range Dipanshu Kabra told ANI, ‘Indian Air Force (IAF) helicopter rescued a person at Khutghat Dam near Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh today. Due to the heavy flow in the dam, the IAF was requested to carry out rescue operations.
