In a shocking incident, a Gramin Sewa vehicle driver attacked a policeman with a sword after an argument with PCR personnel when his vehicle grazed past the police van.
The incident took place on Sunday evening. According to them, the vehicle bumped into the police van outside the police station. This sparked tension outside the Mukherjee Nagar police station and member of the Sikh community protested outside the police station.
The video of the incident occurred in north Delhi has gone viral and in the video, the driver is seen threatening the policeman with the sword and injuring them when he tried to catch it.
In the retaliation to it, the cops thrashed and beat the vehicle driver with a stick and kicked in the face as seen in the video

According to a senior police official, the accident between the police and the vehicle driver occurred in the evening and it led to a heated argument between them which later turned violent.
The driver attacked the police officer on the head with a sword. The tempo driver dangerously drove the vehicle and caused injuries to a policeman in the leg.
The police said that the matter is being inquired by a senior police officer.
The onlookers caught the incident and the videos went viral immediately. Post which Sikh in massive numbers immediately came out on the streets to protest against the brutality of the police.
