Rakhi Sawant was tagged as the ‘True Entertainer’ of the Bigg Boss 14 house. The actor-dancer entered the house as a challenger and emerged as the top 5 finalist.
Prior to her entry in BB 14, Rakhi revealed about her financial crisis. She had said that she is bankrupt and needs money to pay the bills.
Later on, during the family episode in the house, it was revealed that Rakhi’s mom Jaya Sawant is going under cancer treatment.
In the grand finale, the drama queen chose the money suitcase which had Rs 14 lakh, and exited the trophy race. She said that she needs money for her mom’s treatment.
Now, in a recent interview with Times Of India, she said that the reality show’s host and Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has come to her rescue. She said, “Everyone now knows that my bank balance was zero because in the past few years my mother has had several surgeries. And that is why I had participated in Bigg Boss to earn some money for her treatment. Thankfully I have earned a decent amount to take care of my mom at the moment.”
She added, “But the best part is that a major part of the treatment has been taken care of by Salman Khan sir. He is really an angel for us and so is his brother Sohail Khan. Both of them are in touch with the doctor and are taking feedback of the treatment from him. What more can I ask for from the almighty. I am really blessed to have Salman sir as my brother.”

Rakhi shared a video message on Instagram in which her mother is seen speaking. In the video, Jaya can be heard saying, “Salman ji, thank you beta. Sohail ji thank you. Yeh joh abhi mera chemo chal raha hai, main abhi hospital mein hoon. Abhi doh baaki hai, uske baad operation hoga. Thank you Salman ji. Aap logon ko parmeswar khoob aage badhaaye. Aap log sahi salaamat raho. Aap ke saath parmeswar hain. Aap ki har ek manokaamna puree ho. Halleluyah. Thank you.”
