WB Civil Services Exam 2020: West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has released West Bengal Civil Services Exam 2020 notification on its official website. Applicants who wish to appear for the examination can visit the official site of WBPSC at pscwbapplication.in from November 5, 2019. Interested candidates with eligibility can apply for the examination till November 25, 2019.
Candidates can pay online until November 25, 2019. The end date for payment offline is November 26, 2019. However, the Challan must be generated by November 25, 2019, positively.
Based on the results, the West Bengal Civil Service (Exe.) and certain other services and positions will be made. Candidates can view more detailed information below, such as qualifications, vacancies, and selection process.
WBPSC has slated West Bengal Civil Service (Executive) preliminary examination on February 9, 2020. “Only scheduled tribe candidates of Darjeeling district and other candidates of the three hill subdivisions, namely Darjeeling Sadar, Mirik and Kurseong will be allowed to appear at Darjeeling centre”, the official notification reads.

- The general category candidates application fee is 210 rupees + service charge.
- SC ST candidates will not be charged any application fees.
- Examination fees can be submitted online or offline.
- For the offline method, a challan must be generated on the last date of completing the application form.
Exam pattern: WBCS 2020
The West Bengal Civil Service (Executive) exam has two parts — the Written Examination and Personality Test. The written examination will be conducted in two successive stages — (i) Preliminary Examination (Objective MCQ Type) and (ii) Main Examination (Both Objective MCQ Type and Conventional Type).
Candidates who will get selected based on the results of the Preliminary Examination will be eligible for the Main Examination, and candidates who will get selected based on the results of the Main Examination will be eligible for the Personality Test.
