WBBSE Madhyamik Result 2020: The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) notified on Sunday, May 31, that the Board will try to declare the results of the Madhyamik board exams 2020 by the beginning of July month.
According to the latest updates, the West Bengal Board has instructed examiners, who have still not submitted their allotted answer sheets and marks to the head examiners, to do so within 48 hours. “It must be treated as urgent,” the communique to teachers said.
The head examiners are also instructed to submit their balance mark to the regional office or deputy secretary (exam) office within 48 hours after receiving the answer sheet.
“If necessary, examiners and head examiners can carry their appointment letters or the instruction from the Madhyamik Board when travelling to submit the answer scripts,” said a WBBSE official.
He further added, “We are yet to receive around 10% of the scripts, which is delaying the results. We aim to publish the Madhyamik results by the beginning of July.”
The West Bengal Madhyamik examinations 2020 were conducted from 18 February 2020 to 27 February 2020 in 2,839 centres in the state.
A total of 10,15,888 candidates took the Madhyamik exams this year and of them, 5,76,009 were girls.
