WBBSE West Bengal Madhyamik 10th Result 2020: West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has announced WB Madhyamik result 2020 in a virtual press conference today i.e., July 15 at around 10:00 AM on the official website of the board. Students can check and download their Madhyamik Results 2020 online from official websites i.e. wbresults.nic.in.
WBBSE Madhyamik Result 2020: Pass percentage
Out of total 10,03,666 candidates appeared, 8,43,305 have passed the examination. A total of 86.34% of candidates have declared pass in the WB Madhyamik result 2020 this year.
The boys pass percentage is more than girls this year. The pass percentage of boys is 89.87 percent and girls pass percentage is 83.48 percent.

- Rank 1- Aritra Pal, Memari Vidyasagar Memorial Institution has bagged the first place in WB Madhyamik exam 2020 with 694 marks (99.14%).
- Rank 2- Sayantan Garai (Bakura) and Avik Das (North Bardhaman) who got 693
- Rank 3- Debosmita Mahapatra, Aritra Maity and one more student who secured 690 marks.
The Class 10 or Madhyamik result has been announced at 10 AM today by WBBSE Board President Kalyanmoy Ganguly.

Steps to check West Bengal Class 10th Result 2020 online
- Visit the official website – wbbse.org or wbresults.nic.in.
- Click on the result link that says, ‘Madhyamik class 10 Exam Results 2020’
- You will be redirected to a new page
- Enter the required details such as Roll Number or admit card id
- Your results will be displayed on the screen
However, schools will provide the mark sheets to all their students by maintaining social distancing as there are several areas under lockdown and multiple containment zones in the state. Schools would also be sanitized before distributing the marksheet.
Students will be provided with their WB Madhyamik mark sheets on July 22 and 23, 2020 via their respective schools.
“West Bengal Board has issued guidelines to schools before the collection of mark sheets. Schools who will issue the mark sheet to students next week will be sanitized before distributing the mark sheet and certificates”, WB Board President Kalyanmoy Ganguly said.
Around 10,15,888 candidates have taken the WBBSE Madhyamik examinations this year and of them, 5,76,009 are girls. The exams were conducted from 18th to 27th February 2020, prior to the COVID-19 outbreak. However, this year result announcement got delayed due to Covid-19 pandemic and the subsequent nationwide lockdown.
