WBJEE Result 2020: West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board, WBJEEB will be going to declare the result of WBJEE 2020 this week, on August 7, 2020, as confirmed by state education minister Partha Chatterjee.
The result will be declared through a press conference from the board office. The candidates who have taken the WBJEE examination can access their results by visiting the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in on the scheduled date.
WBJEE 2020 was held on February 2, 2020. This year onwards, the Board has planned a fixed day to hold the exams every year. The exams will be held on the first Sunday of February every year.
The result declaration date has been confirmed by the chairman Malayendu Saha, he said that the result timing and the counselling schedule will be announced next week.
West Bengal Board announced the WBBSE 12th Result on July 17, this year. The postpone in the declaration of the results of WBJEE 2020 was due to the higher secondary exams evaluation process.
“The board has completed the evaluation process in April, but the delay is due to the Higher Secondary exam. The Uccha Madhyamik result was declared on July 17,” the official said.
Considering the uncertain situation, the counselling will be held online this year due to the outbreak of COVID 19 pandemic.
The board has already announced the list of provisional institutes providing admissions to the undergraduate courses in Engineering, Pharmacy or Architecture in the next academic session. The list of government and private colleges are available on wbjeeb.nic.in.
The counselling procedure may be held in September, with the classes may resume in October, before Durga Puja. The decision related to the commencement of the classes would be made by the state government. The counselling process can be commenced in September, the detail will be announced on August 7, following the result declaration.
Nearly, 1.1 lakh candidates have taken the engineering entrance examination that was held on February 2, before the HS examinations.
