In a shocking event, actor Sandeep Nahar who rose to fame from the movie like MS Dhoni and Kesari died by suicide on Monday evening in Mumbai.
Prior to his death, the actor posted a video and a “suicide note” on Facebook in which he can be seen blaming his wife and also spoke about “politics” in Bollywood. A police investigation is underway on Nahar’s death case.
Who is Sandeep Nahar?
Nahar was a resident at Vasundhara Apartment near Vibgyor school in Goregaon West.
In the video that he posted on Facebook, the actor said that he was annoyed with fights between him and his wife. Several times his wife blackmailed him of committing suicide.
“I would’ve died by suicide a long time ago but I chose to give myself the time and hope that things would get better, but they didn’t. I now have nowhere to go. I don’t know what awaits me after I take this step, but I’ve been through hell in this life”, the actor said.
Nahar also mentioned the politics in Bollywood which kept him away from opportunities.
Sandeep Nahar last appeared in the film Khandaani Shafakhana starring Sonakshi Sinha in the lead role. Moreover, he was also seen in Sushant Singh Rajput’s MS Dhoni: The Untold Story and Akshay Kumar’s Kesari.
He had also appeared in ALT Balaji’s ‘Kehne Ko Humsafar Hai’. During his acting career, he also shot for Crime Patrol, Savdhan India, Siya KeRam, CID, and many Punjabi movies.
As per media reports, Nahar hailed from Chandigarh. He completed his graduation and moved to Mumbai to take his career in acting. According to a report on India.com, the deceased actor’s friend Baljit said that Nahar was an emotional man who never believed in sharing personal issues with his friends.
On 14 June 2020, Sandeep Nahar’s co-star in the film MS Dhoni, Sushant Singh Rajput, had allegedly died by suicide.
The Sushant’s case is still going on and has created massive buzz about nepotism in Bollywood. Rajput’s then-girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty was accused by abetment to suicide by his family.
