Ajay Bhatt was speaking in Lok Sabha on Thursday when he said that only a few have heard about the medical properties of Garud Ganga’s water. Not only this, but he also said that stones from the river if rubbed on snakebite wounds can save lives.

According to a national daily’s report, Ajay Bhatt said someone from Kakdighat where Swami Vivekananda meditated told him that he was scared to enter his house because a snake was stuck in the rat trap. His family was afraid of being bitten by it.

He also added that he told him about a village saint who has a stone from the banks of Garud Ganga river and asked him to get the same in his house. He said that the man followed that and in a few minutes, the trapped snake moved out of the house.

Bhatt talked about the powers of the sacred river and claimed that the pregnant woman with complications can get relief by drinking Garud Ganga water.

While speaking on the central council amendment (homeopathy) bill he said “Rub the stone of Garud Ganga, mix it with water and make the patient drink it. There will be no need for cesarean deliveries.”

His statement was criticized by several allopathic doctors and they also questioned the scientific reason behind it.
