World Teachers Day 2020: World Teachers Day is celebrated every year on October 5 to improve the situation of the teachers in the world. This day was established in 1996 after a meeting between UNESCO and the International Labor Organization (ILO).
This day is special for teachers as well as students, on this day the retired teachers and the teachers are honored for their contribution. In1966, ILO and UNESCO in their recommendations had said to make proper guidelines regarding the status of teachers’ rights, responsibilities, their initial preparation, further education, recruitment, employment, and teaching.
