World UFO Day 2020: Every year on July 2, the world celebrates World UFO Day to raise awareness about Unidentified Flying Objects and alien life forms. In 2001, UFO researcher Haktan Akdogan celebrated the first World UFO Day.

In the past few cases, various stories of sightings of UFOs have caused an uproar on social media. Talks about aliens, UFOs, and extraterrestrial objects have always attracted astronauts and even common people.

As per the official website of World UFO day, UFO is usually classified as anomalies that is completely unrecognizable and identifiable. The most general definition of UFO is something that is apparent in the sky and cannot be recognized as any known object or natural phenomenon.

World UFO Day: Date

In the past there were two days called World UFO Day. July 2nd and June 24th. In 2001, an organisation World UFO Day Organisation (WUFODO) decided to celebrate this day on July 2 because all UFO enthusiasts gathered to show the evidence they collected to support the existence of extraterrestrial creatures.

World UFO Day is marked to raise awareness of “the undoubted existence of UFOs. The day aims to encourage governments to declassify their files on UFO sightings. Another aim to mark this day is to gather all the enthusiasts of UFO’s together and bring their collective evidence about the existence of other alien life in the universe.

Some theorists believe that aliens or any form of other life have landed on the earth and that the information is being hidden from the others.

In movies and series, the subject of aliens, UFOs, rocket science has been a popular subject explored has interested more audiences over the years. Besides, there have been so many official investigations into the reports of spotting a UFO, but there hasn’t been a proof of the same to support alien life.

The day is celebrated to provide people with tools, stories, information, and visual effects to help them explain the existence of extraterrestrial life in a non-threatening and attractive way.

So while it seems interesting to imagine a life beyond the planet earth, it still seems a distant possibility. The best way to celebrate this day is to watch sci-fi movies and series or gathering information on the same.
