World UFO Day 2020: Every year on July 2, the world celebrates World UFO Day to raise awareness about Unidentified Flying Objects and alien life forms. In 2001, UFO researcher Haktan Akdogan celebrated the first World UFO Day.

In 2001, an organisation World UFO Day Organisation (WUFODO) decided to celebrate this day on July 2 because all UFO enthusiasts gathered to show the evidence they collected to support the existence of extraterrestrial creatures.

World UFO Day is marked to raise awareness of “the undoubted existence of UFOs. The day aims to encourage governments to declassify their files on UFO sightings.
