Despite repeated attempts, Roy did not comment on the video. The CBSE officials also refused to comment on it and said that the Education Department can tell about the ' reference ' of the video. It is noteworthy that the video on social media is going viral very fast and the target is Arvind Kejriwal's government, which has been in the limelight for its education model.

Delhi’s education director Udit Rai is in a controversy after a video surfaced of him on social media in which he was asking students at a government school to “fill the answer booklets with anything,” during the examination and not leave them vacant. While interacting with class XII students, he said that the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has been asked to give students the marks if they have written something in their answer sheets.

The Congress and the BJP have targeted the Delhi government over the video. BJP Delhi State President Adesh Gupta has tweeted the video and attacked Arvind Kejriwal’s government. Adesh Gupta wrote with this video: “This is the reality of Arvind Kejriwal’s education model! Children are getting such a good education that the directors under Education Minister Manish Sisodia are telling the children that if they don’t know the answer to the question, they can write anything. AAP is playing with the children’s future in Delhi.”

Roy claimed CBSE will give them marks

While senior government officials said Roy’s, comments have been taken out of context. In the video, Roy is looking at the students of Class XII and directing them to ‘ fill the answer booklets. ‘If you don’t know the answer, write anything,’ he said. Write the questions in the answer sheets instead of answering but do not leave the answer-book blank. We have spoken to your teachers and they have said that they will give you marks provided something is written in the answer sheets. We have also told CBSE that if a child writes something, they should be given the marks.’

Despite repeated attempts, Roy did not comment on the video. The CBSE officials also refused to comment on it and said that the Education Department can tell about the ‘ reference ‘ of the video. It is noteworthy that the video on social media is going viral very fast and the target is Arvind Kejriwal’s government, which has been in the limelight for its education model.
