Xiaomi MIX Foldable Smartphone could be launch on March 29, along with Mi 11 Pro and Ultra

Xiaomi has already announced the date for the launch of Mi 11 Pro/ Mi 11 Ultra in China and in the global market. The teaser image and poster reveals the launch date on March 29th in their grand launch event. 

This mega launch event will also feature the Mi Notebook Pro laptop and now as rumors suggest that Xiaomi MIX Foldable Smartphone could also be revealed in this grand event. 

This foldable phone will be part of the Mi MIX series and could flaunt a display style and hinge similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2. 

The front could have an elongated Cover Display while the rear appears to have a triple camera setup, with all the lenses mounted vertically. 

As per Gizmochina the Xiaomi foldable smartphone has already passed the 3C certification process, which means that the phone’s launch is imminent.

With Samsung getting ahead in the foldable smartphones market, it now looks like Xiaomi is also all set to jump on this bandwagon without any further adieu.    

As per rumors, the smartphone will come with a display size of around 7-inch with support for a 120Hz refresh rate. It could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset and feature a 108MP primary camera sensor in the triple-camera module. It could run MIUI 12 and pack a 5,000mAh battery.

Mi 11 Pro, Ultra, and Mi Notebook Pro: Expected Specs

As per rumors the Mi 11 Pro / Ultra will feature a four-sided curved punch-hole 6.8-inch Quad HD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 480Hz touch sampling rate. 

The phone will be powered by Snapdragon 888 with up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM, up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. Mi 11 will sport triple rear cameras that include Samsung ISOCELL GN2 50-megapixel 1/1.12″ sensor,  48MP ultra-wide, and a 48MP periscope telephoto camera with support for up to 120x zoom. It could retain the 20MP front-facing camera from the Mi 10 Ultra.

According to an ITHome report, the Mi Notebook Pro laptop was apparently spotted on Geekbench, with a model of TIMI TM2021. This notebook featured an Intel Core i7-11370H processor and the yet-to-be-released NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti graphics card.
