Sub-brand of Xiaomi, Redmi has now confirmed its first flagship that will be called Redmi K20. The general manager Lu Weibing has explained that the K in the K20 stands for killer and also the K-series will comprise the brand’s performance-driven flagship phones.
The announcement by the company was confirmed a say after tipster Ishan Agarwal leaked that the flagship phone will be called Redmi K20. He also said that there might be a Redmi K20 pro variant as well. Although the company has not confirmed anything about the second variant till now.
Redmi took to Weibo to announce that the much-rumored flagship will be called the Redmi K 20. They also added that Redmi will announce all its flagship phones under the K-series.
As per a recent leak, the new flagship phone will come in two variant, the Redmi K20, and K20 pro. Also one of them could launch in India as Poco F2. Redmi K20 pro is expected to include a 4000mAh battery and a possibility of a 48-megapixel camera. It’s also rumored to have a 32-megapixel pop-up selfie camera too.
Xiamoi has confirmed the flagship of Redmi and will have an in a display fingerprint sensor, as upper-wide angle lens, 2-day battery life. Also, a pop-up selfie is also expected.
