Mumbai, Jan 15 (IANS) Actor Yash Tonk is back to facing the camera after a break for a TV show, and he says he is enjoying the experience.
Yash, who was last seen in “Roop: Mard Ka Naya Swaroop”, which ended in 2019, will now be seen in the upcoming show “Kyun Utthe Dil Chhod Aaye”. He essays the character of essay Lala Brij Kishore.
“It feels great to be back shooting for a television show again. Set in the traumatic backdrop of pre-Partition, ‘Kyun Utthe Dil Chod Aaye’ narrates the story of three young women who dared to dream the impossible in the 1940s,” said Yash.
“My character Lala Brij Kishore is a very innocent yet aggressive person, who is at odds with everyone who says anything he doesn’t agree with,” added the actor, known for shows like “Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi”, “Kasautii Zindagii Kay” and “Just Mohabbat”.
“Kyun Utthe Dil Chhod Aaye” will premiere on January 25 on Sony Entertainment Television.
