Over the years, reality shows have gained special preference in television and almost every channel today has its own show covering various fields like singing, acting, dancing, dating, etc.
This year too we saw old popular TV reality shows returning with new seasons and also new reality shows making their entry into the league.
Even this year, several reality shows were telecast and each one of them had respective participants who emerged as winners.
As the end of 2019 is near the corner, we have rounded up a list of all the performers who did not only participate in reality shows but won it too:
- Punit Pathak – Khatron Ke Khiladi 9
Ace dance choreographer Punit Pathak lifted the trophy of Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 after a spine-chilling grand finale, in which he pipped other finalists including Aditya Narayan, Ridhima Pandit, Aly Goni, and Shamita Shetty. Along with the trophy, he won a cash prize of Rs 20 lakh and a Swift car.
- Prince Narula and Yuvika Chaudhary – Nach Baliye 9 Nach Baliye 9 has been one of the most controversial television reality shows this year. The show that lasted for three months, was constantly under the limelight for mixed reasons. The show concluded in November and Prince Narula and Yuvika Chaudhary were declared the winners of the reality show. The real-life couple was awarded trophy along with a cash prize of Rs 50 lakh.
- Vishal Sonkar – Dance Deewane 2The second season of Dance Deewane concluded this year and 21-year-old Vishal Sonkar was announced the winner of the show. Hailing from the city of Jamshedpur, Vishal was pitted against finalists namely Tweesha and Vihan. Vishal was awarded a trophy and a cash prize of Rs 15 lakh.
- Salman Zaidi – Ace of Space 2After a season that was loaded with thrilling tasks, brewing relationships, eye-popping fights, and ever-changing equations, Hyderabad-based Salman Zaidi was declared the winner. Salman was reportedly awarded prize money of Rs 7 lakh.
- Chetan Salunkhe – Dance Plus 4One of the most-watched dance shows in India, Dance Plus 4, came to an end in February this year and Pune-based Chetan Salunkhe bagged the first position in it. He took home a cash prize to Rs 25 Lakh and a coveted trophy. Chetan was mentored by Punit Pathak on the show.</
