Freshly elected Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath on Friday visited the King George’s Medical University in Lucknow and met the acid attack and gang-rape survivor who was forced to drink acid on Thursday near the Lucknow railway station.
Survivor, Vimla was going to work at the Sheroes Hangout Cafe when she was attacked by a group of goons around 11 in the morning on Thursday. “She is in the trauma center right now and she is unable to speak,” Sheroes posted on Twitter while appealing the UP CM Adityanath, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya and the UP police to take strict action in the case.
