Zaira Wasim’s account was not hacked, clarifies her manager and actress herself

National Award winning actor Zaira Wasim known for her role in Dangal made a decision on Sunday to disassociate herself from the field of acting. Ever since that, it has sent the film industry to shock.

Amid it, there were reports that the social media account of the actor has been hacked. But in a recent development the manager Tuhin Mishra has clarified that the 18-year-old actress herself wrote the post and it was not hacked.

Apart from her manager, the actress herself took to Twitter and clarified that her account was not hacked and she has herself written the posts.

Zaira in a detailed post on her Facebook said on Sunday that she was not happy with the line of work as it interfered with her faith and religion.

She said “Five years ago, I made a decision that changed my life forever. As I stepped my foot in Bollywood, it opened doors of massive popularity for me. I started to become the prime candidate of public attention, I was projected as the gospel of the idea of success and was often identified as a role model for the youth. However, that’s never something that I set out to do or become, especially with regards to my ideas of success and failure, which I had just started to explore and understand.”

“For a very long time now, it has felt like I have struggled to become someone else. As I had just started to explore and make sense of the things to which I dedicated my time, efforts and emotions and tried to grab hold of a new lifestyle, it was only for me to realise that though I may fit here perfectly, I do not belong here,” she added.

Ever since the actress has announced this, there have been a lot of mixed reactions pouring upon her decision. Raveena Tandon has slammed her for taking such a drastic step while Tanushree Dutta and Dangal actor Nitesh Tiwari have supported her decision.
