The Bharat Jodo Yatra is all about learning by listening to the voices of all sections of Indians, especially those who have not been able to narrate their stories of triumphs and travails, according to a statement issued by the Congress.

The HC noted that there is no reasonable ground to stay the conviction. A stay to the conviction would have paved the way for Gandhi’s reinstatement as a Member of Parliament.

He was rounded up Wednesday after Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan called for the immediate arrest of the man, who has since been identified as Pravesh Shukla.

The Congress has also been seeking a discussion in Parliament on the border issue and Chinese transgressions at the border.

Gandhi, who is leading the Congress’ Bharat Jodo Yatra, on Wednesday alleged that the ”plan of the BJP and RSS is to spread fear” and his march was to stand against fear and hatred.

Congress general secretary communications, Jairam Ramesh also said the Bharat Jodo Yatra marked this day by paying tributes to the farmers who died during the agitation.

In its manifesto for the hill state released last week, the Congress has made ’10 guarantees’. The campaign for November 12 polls in the state ended on Thursday.

In an early morning meeting, Gandhi discussed the challenges of rising fuel costs, reduced subsidies, dwindling fish stock and environmental destruction among other issues.

Gandhi, who has embarked on the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra,’ reached Neendakara in Kollam district today, the ninth day since he began his foot march on September 7.

The Monsoon Session of Parliament began on Monday, and it coincided with the Presidential Elections 2022.

Gandhi’s dig came over Modi’s recent remarks at a large public meeting in Andhra Pradesh’s Bhimavaram after he unveiled a 30-foot bronze statue of legendary freedom fighter Alluri Sitarama Raju on his 125th birth anniversary.

The 67-year-old Abe died after being shot during a campaign speech in western Japan.

Gandhi was on a three-day visit to Kerala and will return to Delhi tonight.

Pratik Sinha, another co-founder at Alt News, said in a tweet that Zubair was called today by Special Cell, Delhi for investigation in a 2020 case for which he already had protection against arrest from High Court.
