When Shah Rukh Khan collaborated with Atal Bihari Vajpayee

Atal Bihari Vajpayee, a politician, a visionary leader of India, was popular as a poet too. The former Indian prime minister, who dies on Thursday August 16 in Delhi after a raw of medical assistance, is still remembered for penning some unforgettable poems, one of which was adapted into a music video.

Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s collection of poems, Samvedna, was converted into a music album by Jagjit Singh in 2002. The music video “Kya Khoya Kya Paya” was directed by Yash Chopra. The preface is by Javed Akhtar in the voice of Amitabh Bachchan.and the video featured Shah Rukh Khan.
