At the time of religious procession in Punjab’s Tarn Taran district, firecracker trolley exploded in which at least 15 people had been killed and several others were injured on Saturday, February 8, 2020. Punjab Police said that during the religious procession, a firecracker explosion took place taking the lives of at least 15 and left many in severe health conditions.
Injured ones have been shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. The tractor-trolley of firecrackers got exploded during the ‘nagar kirtan’ (religious procession) near Pahu village in Tarn Taran.
People were bursting crackers during the procession meanwhile, sparks from the crackers landed on the tractor trolley which turned out into the explosion.
As per reports, earlier there were two persons who got killed in the scary explosion.
