“Bagger's life is precious too”, says Dr Vivek while saving a poor nearly dying from fits

Twitter account holder Vivek, who appears to be a doctor as anticipated through tweets, saved a Beggar’s life who was lying unconscious on railway platform due to a seizure disorder. Displeased with bystanders’ unsympathetic behaviour, Vivek iterated the incident through a thread of tweets posted on July 5, where he said that more than 30 men were standing carefree, watching the poor drooling and nearly dying due to fits.

With a heavy disappointment, Vivek tweeted saying “There were literally 30+ men standing around. But only a girl was near the unconscious person. She told he had fits for around 15 mins.”

Dr Vivek expressed his annoyance in further the following tweet saying none of the men spectators helped the man as he was poor, with dirty torn clothes and stinking breath. Instead, the poor was accused of being heavily drunk.

However, recalling the doctor’s Hippocratic Oath, Vivek came in the forefront to diagnose the vagrant following to which, he gave possible first aid and later, took the poor to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

Dr Vivek was further disappointed by the ambulance too, as the ambulance driver hesitated to serve the poor due to possible police case. However, taking the full responsibility of the beggar, Vivek managed to take the helpless patient to a nearby government hospital. The needy was given the required medical aid, all funded by Vivek.

In the following tweets Vivek told about the humble nature of the poor who gifted his pen as a token of gratitude for saving his life.

Through a thread of tweets, Vivek made an effort to recall and stir the sleeping humanity. He urged the society to help any and every person facing death, irrespective of caste or creed.

Dr Vivek even mentioned a list of do’s and don’t’s to be remembered while giving a first aid to any seizure disorder sufferer.
