84% people in favour of UP CM Yogi Adityanath: Survey

According to a survey by a rural media platform named Gaon Connection, more than 80% of the total people who participated in the survey are in favour of BJP’s decision to appoint Yogi Adityanath as the CM of Uttar Pradesh.

22% of the total participants were students, 21% were housewives, 18.7% private job employee, 15.5% traders and 13.8% were farmers. 2,000 respondents spread across 20 districts of the state were in support of Yogi Adityanath’s new policies such as the banning illegal slaughterhouses, introduction of anti-Romeo squads, ban on paan masala in government schools and offices. As per the survey 84% favoured the UP CM while 12.8% opted for ‘can’t say’ and only 3.2 per cent respondents disliked him.

On being asked about his most impact-ful decisions, 38.1% appreciated the decision of crackdown on illegal abattoirs while 25.4% opted in favour of Anti-Romeo squads whereas 23.7% people hailed Yogi for asking his minister to furnish asset details within 15 days.

When respondents were asked if the CM is working in the right direction, 71.6 per cent respondents said ‘yes’, while 24.8 % opted for ‘can’t say’, says the survey.
