After the horrifying Bihar and UP shelter home rape case of minors, another case has emerged where two minor girls are missing from the shelter home in Khunti District, Jharkhand. On Monday, Child Welfare Committee (CWC) members Baidyanath Kumar and Vasanti Munda inspected the shelter home and realised that two of the girls were missing, however, villagers claim that the duo must have run away.
Despite after repeated interrogations, the villagers associated with the shelter home gave information about running away of both minor girls.
The CWC members have said that it was the duty of people associated with Shelter home, to lodge the complaint of missing girls, but nobody did, which raises several suspicion. Considering the matter quite tangy, CWC members have ordered DC Suraj Kumar to take action in the matter and inspect whether the villagers are misleading the case or the girl have fled away.
