Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker, who is no stranger to trolls and controversies for her opinions on social media, is yet against garlanding attacks from twitter users, for alleging abuse to Indian Army. While India is in a bid to celebrate Independence Day, Swara Bhasker had been trolled for her comments to Indian Army.

Swara reacted to the Una flogging incident that had happened two years ago. The victims recently announced that they are renouncing Hinduism and converting to Buddhism as an attempt to put an end to caste-based atrocities. They also announced that they will be converting others to Buddhism, too.

The versatile actresses Swara tweeted about the incident and wrote, “Some assholes with big caste pride, tied men to a jeep, flogged them publicly and recorded it; #ButLiberalsAreFanatics #SadhguruSays.”

Following her comment, trollers were surprised as Swara comes from a Navy Background. However, the actress defended by saying that “Obviously ‘big caste pride’ is referring to the #Una case in Gujarat… sigh! Read the newspapers, use your brains… or don’t – whatever!”

While a lot of people called her out for her tweet, some fans clarified that she is actually giving her opinion on the flogging incident.
