Bharti Airtel (Airtel) announced the launch of its 5G services in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh’s capital city, on Monday. Airtel 5G Plus services are now available on Mall Road, Sanjoli, Dhalli, BhattaKufar, Ridge and Sanjoli Helipad Area, as well as a few other select locations throughout the city.
Customers with 5G-enabled Android/iOS devices on Airtel will be able to enjoy high-speed 5G services at no additional cost until the rollout is more widespread. The operator claims that it will expand the network and make the services available throughout the city in due course.
Airtel 5G Plus is expected to provide massive speeds, enabling superfast access to High Definition video streaming, gaming, multiple chatting, instant photo uploading, and more. Furthermore, it will provide the best voice experience and will work on all 5G-enabled smartphones while being more environmentally friendly.
