Bollywood actor, Akshay Kumar has apologized for insulting the Indian tricolor during the Women’s Cricket World Cup final at Lord’s on Sunday. “Extending my sincerest apology for violating the code of conduct for the tricolor. Didn’t mean to offend anyone, the picture has been removed,” the actor tweeted.

In the final of the ICC Women’s World Cup at The Lord’s on Sunday, Kumar was seen cheering Team India with holding tricolor in hand. But, it seems that he ‘accidentally’ was holding the flag upside down.  It was soon noticed by some eagle-eyed social media users and twitter gets flooded with many taking potshot at the actor.
