The biopic on Bihar’s mathematical genius Anand Kumar that Vikas Bahl will helm is not the first cinematic homage to a man who has dedicated himself to the education of economically-challenged students. Notably, Hrithik Roshan will play Anand in the upcoming biopic.
Years ago, megastar Amitabh Bachchan played a character based on Kumar in Prakash Jha’s Aarakshan. Recently, the duo met up for an episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati Anand won a considerable amount of money.
“Anand is such a noble soul and so committed to his work. In Prakash Jha’s Aarakshan my character was inspired by him,” said Amitabh Bachchan.
