Aligarh Muslim University on Friday suspended a student named Basim Hilal over his objectionable tweet on Pulwama attack.
“We’ve come to know of the highly objectionable tweet. Taking immediate cognizance he has been suspended by AMU administration. We won’t let the University be discredited. We’ve zero tolerance,”, University spokesperson Omar Saleem Peerzada was quoted as saying by ANI.
Hilal, hails from Kashmir and is a BSc Mathematics student. He has been filed by the police for an objectional tweet regarding the Thursday Pulwama terror attack in which more than 40 CRPF jawans lost their lives.
