Visakhapatnam, Sep 30 (IANS) City-based Swaroopanandendra Swamy of Visakha Sri Sarada Peetham on Wednesday welcomed the acquittal of all 32 accused in the Babri Masjid demolition case by a Special CBI court in Lucknow earlier in the day.
“The verdict is a happy development. Hinduism has been protected by this judgment. With this judgment, the controversy over the Babri Masjid has been settled. I welcome the acquittals,” he said.
The seer also congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on behalf of Sri Sarada Peetham.
