Anupamaa lead actor Rupali Ganguli tests positive for COVID-19, in quaratine

Actor Rupali Ganguli who is playing lead role in the serial Anupamaa has been tested positive for the novel coronavirus on Friday. The actor is in quarantine and the results of her family’s tests are awaited.

Along with her, a couple of more people from the cast and crew have also apparently contracted the virus.

Rupali shared a picture of herself, posing with a helmet on her head, wearing a colourful dupatta, and wrote on Instagram, “MA Corona Devi Tu hai ki nahiiiii ( mild to asymptomatic) Ye kya hua kaise hua kab hua Jab hua tab hua …. chhodo ye na poocho (How and when did this happened? Oh, don’t ask about it!)..This is the kind of positive I didn’t want to be. Family has been tested and awaiting results…. please keep them in ur prayers. Last month, actor Paras Kalnawat (who plays Anupamaa’s younger son) had tested positive after which he was on a break for two weeks.
