APSCHE prepares the merit list using the normalized scores that candidates obtain. Since the examination is conducted across several shifts, they apply a normalization process to make it fair for everyone.
As per the official procedure, ranks are given only after assessing candidate performance and then applying the approved normalization formula. Separate rank cards are issued for Engineering and the Agriculture & Pharmacy stream too, depending on what stream they applied for.
For General, BC and EWS category candidates, the minimum qualifying score is 25%, this works out to 40 marks out of 160. For SC and ST candidates, there is no minimum qualifying mark, they are assessed in accordance with reservation norms during counselling.
