Vijayawada: AP SSC exams 2020 will begin after two weeks of completion of lockdown. Andhra Pradesh education minister Adimulapu Suresh said that the state government will hold SSC exams after two weeks of lockdown.
He participated in a video conference meeting that was scheduled to be conducted with union Human resources minister Ramesh Pokhriyal today on April 28 and explained various measures taken by the education department in online teaching.
Minister also cleared that there is no other proposal to pass SSC students without conducting exams.
“Chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy asked us to prepare the schedule for SSC exams. Two weeks time will be given after completion of lockdown for the preparation of students. Measures will be taken to maintain social distancing at exam centres,” Suresh said.
He added that they have decided to continue providing the mid-day meals to the students during summer holidays and appealed to the union government to give more support for this scheme. They have also requested the centre to release pending funds due to them under various heads in the Human resources ministry.
