Despite being leaked two days before, the box office collection of the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) film remained unaffected, thanks to the Marvel fans. The most awaited film which is the last installment of the Avengers series was released on April 26.
With expectations of the Marvel fans soaring high, it was evident that the film will collect a hefty amount at the box office, but this has gone beyond our thinking. With almost 80-85 % occupancy, the movie has become the third highest opener ever in India after Baahubali and Thugs of Hindostan.
On an opening day, the movie has raked 52 crores on the release day, as per Boxofficeindia report. The weekend collection was most awaited and like we already knew, the film has broken all the records yet again. The 22nd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has recorded the highest weekend box office collections at Rs 186.53 cr at the domestic box office.
Avengers Endgame made a smashing collection in China and earned $107.5 million at the China box office taking the first-day collection to 169 million dollars from 25 markets.
The movie released in 2845 screens across India and the advance booking of tickets for the film in India recorded sale of over 2 million, tickets as per a release by BookMyShow.
The film which is the last in the avenger series has created a lot of hype, especially amongst the Avengers fans.
